Admire the dance of the deer at daybreak
You'll need to get up early to be ready as soon as the sun comes up. In the heart of the forest filled with the songs of the morning birds, your nature guide gives some final tips in a whisper, so as not to startle the surrounding nature. You’ll need to learn to hear all of nature's sounds before trying to observe this solitary deer. With their powerful sense of smell, deers can be skittish, so when you finally catch a glimpse, be sure to stay completely still. The setting is gorgeous, and the spectacle of nature awakening is simply amazing. After spending dawn in the forest, delight in a joyful breakfast together to recover from your emotions and share your excitement.

Concoct a magic potion
Make your way to the town of Marlenheim to meet up with Georges and his draft horse Spirit. Georges, a native of the area, saddles up the beautiful stallion for an excursion, with a few anecdotes along the way about the life cycles of the vineyard and the local fauna and flora.
Georges is also the only producer of frênette in Alsace, and he wants to share all his secrets. The recipe for this medieval drink, the champagne of the forest, might have fallen into oblivion without him. A former beer brewer, Georges is now a local producer and welcomes small groups for a day collecting the main ingredients of the magic potion: dried ash leaves and wild hops. Back at the workshop, chicory is added for an amber colour and cane sugar for the fermentation process. Making a secret potion is quite simple after all.
