Aim for the stars at the astronomical observatory in Osenbach

To observe the stars, get away from the lights of the city and head to the countryside in the foothills of the Vosges Mountains.

The Osenbach astronomical observatory sits on the edge of a field aptly nicknamed "the meadow of stars". Alongside passionate and informative volunteers, peer through telescopes and admire the comets shooting across the celestial dome. Observe the waltz of the planets as Jupiter and Saturn align, seeming to greet each other. The sky feels within reach, suddenly a garden of dreams.

Sleep under the stars in a lodge in the hollow of a valley

Fall asleep under the light of the moon and wake to the early-morning songs of birds, all with your head resting on your pillow. The view from the comfortable and cosy cocoon is divine: lush green hills surrounded by the splendid forests of the Vosges Mountains. What's on the programme for the day? After breakfast in bed, head out on the footpaths that criss-cross this bountiful nature. Then, it's time for a massage or a dip in the wood-burning hot tub.
