Self-guided tour of Schoenenbourg Fort

With its 3 kilometres of internal galleries 30 metres below ground, its surface area of over 15,000 square metres and its original equipment, it offers an unprecedented return to the past. The most heavily bombarded fort in France during the 1939-1940 campaign, it stood up to its adversaries, defended its positions with courage and valour and remained undefeated.
