Guided tour of the Offendorf Forest Nature Reserve

A warden from the CEN Alsace, manager of the Offendorf forest nature reserve, invites you to discover part of this typical environment on the banks of the Rhine. A network of ponds, a meadow and former arms of the Rhine are protected by its classification as a nature reserve. Come and discover the biodiversity of this site, a legacy of the majestic Rhine forest, and the exceptional fauna and flora that is present there, as well as the functioning of a nature reserve and its role in daily life. The walk lasts about 2.5 to 3 hours and is about 5 km long. The visit may be cancelled in case of flooding or strong winds. Conditions: Anybody in good physical condition. Bring suitable clothing and shoes, binoculars, insect repellent, drinks and snacks if necessary. Recommended for ages 8 and up. Not accessible to pushchairs. Dogs not allowed.
