Everyone to the châteaux for May 1st!

" 34 castles and towns in Alsace welcome you for a whole day. "

This event, organised in partnership with Alsace Destination Tourisme, the Route des Châteaux d'Alsace, the Châteaux forts vivants association and the Châteaux forts d'Alsace association, aims to raise awareness of the Châteaux Forts d'Alsace and their unique features.

On the programme:
- Guided tours of the castle and the works at 10am, 12pm, 2pm and 4pm.
- Dressing of the knight and explanations on the archaeology of the building at 11am, 1pm and 3pm. Throughout the day: Mini medieval camp, calligraphy demonstration, builder's stand with tools and a demonstration of how to make shingles, exhibition of old photos and a big game for children, as well as various wooden games. Snacks (sausages and pastries) and drinks on site.
