Cave of the Dwarfs nature climbing site

The Cave of the Dwarfs is above all a place of legend.
This climbing site involves fairly high-level paths. It has the advantage of being located near Altkirch and Mulhouse. Today it is the only natural climbing site in the territory of the Alsatian Jura.General info: the rocks of the Cave of the Dwarfs form a 25m high cliff oriented to the NE and enclosed for about 10m in a small gorge. The location and orientation of the rocks are such that they never see the sun. The ""Tip Top"" sector therefore remains dry during light showers. The routes located in this area cover excellent and nicely aggregated overhanging rock. This is a summer cliff par excellence.Range of routes: 15 routes and variants from 6b to 8a. Unmissable: Tip-Top.Equipment: all routes are equipped: pulley with chain and snap hook at the top of each route.Best seasons: summer, autumn. Sometimes impassable in the spring due to water resurgence.
