Lautenbach zell

Lautenbach Zell and its hamlet, Sengern, form a mid-mountain village enfolded in the Valley du Florival, at the foot of the Grand Ballon, the highest summit of the Vosges mountains (alt. 1,424 m). Located in the National Regional Park of the Ballons des Vosges and close to the ‘Route des Crêtes’ (Cliff Road), Lautenbach Zell is the ideal departure point for taking advantage of mountain sports and recreational activities.A visit to the Vivarium du Moulin is an exploration of the diversity of living systems with the presence of some 60 live specimens: insects, spiders, centipedes and others have taken over this former windmill, which is moreover the only windmill in the Lauch whose wheel still turns.
