Themed hike (relics of WW1) with commentary by local specialist Jean-Baptiste Chapeyron (https://www.facebook.com/gardiendhistoire) departing from Sondernach. Once again, he'll be delighted to enlighten us on the many emblematic sites of our valley floor and answer any questions you may have. No need to book, this is a free, fun outing. Meeting point: either at the Parc Anne-Aymone parking lot at 9.20 a.m., or at the end of Rue du Landersbach after the junction with Rue du Brobach at the bridge on the right at 9.30 a.m. All-day outing, please bring a picnic or barbecue for a stop in the Ilienkopf area. 9.6km, 360m elevation gain, with many stops; easy pace. On the program: Andlaweier pond, Dunz soldier stele, old pass cemetery, bunker detour with special cartridge. Open to all.
