18th festival of role playing games

" For one weekend, the world of role-playing games is revealed. The town of Kaysersberg is transformed into a giant playground to celebrate 50 years of role-playing games! "

The Nickel association is organising its 18th Role Playing Festival in 2024, with the theme "50 years of Role Playing". Come and have fun with friends and family!

On the 2024 programme:

  • Grandeur Nature: The Magiks welcome you and present their film inspired by the world of Grandeur Nature, as well as a presentation of GN costume and weapon creations. And maybe a few surprises.
  • Paper and miniature role-playing games (RPGs): introductory games or long games, in different worlds: ancient, fantasy, contemporary, science fiction, etc.
  • Board games and parlour games
  • Escape game: "Horror! Misfortune! Craspula, the witch, has turned the Kaysers-Bergeois into slugs! But all hope is not lost. The formula for the antidote is hidden somewhere in her hut. You have 30 minutes to complete the most dangerous and exciting mission of your life: search the hut, find the formula and prepare the antidote. Get your crack team together and come and save the festival! Registration on site at Badhus, ages 10 and up.
  • Performances :
    • Guilde de la cigogne, Place de la Mairie Saturday at 10am and 4pm, Sunday at 10.30am and 1pm
    • Les cadets de L'ill Place de la mairie: Saturday at 6pm, Sunday at 5pm
    • Storytelling : Place de la mairie: Saturday at 3pm, Sunday at 2pm and 4pm
    • Graffiti demonstration: Place de la mairie: Saturday at 5pm, Sunday at 3pm
  • Market "rolistico-fantastique": publishing houses, craftsmen, shops....
  • Tombola: Meet us in the Salle de l'Arsenal, next to the Town Hall, for our tombola. There are lots of prizes to be won, including role-playing games, books, board games and much more!
  • VIP guests signing books at the Salle de l'Arsenal:
    • Loïc Muzy. A professional illustrator for over ten years in France, he works mainly on role-playing games. Book signing all weekend
    • Jean Marie Noel. Known for his work on Casus Belli. He went on to work on Laelith, Capitaine Vaudou, D-start and MEGA. Signing session Saturday: 12pm-1pm and 3pm-4pm Sunday: 12.15pm-1.15pm
  • Light refreshments on site
