Night of museums - Musée des Eaux de Vie

During of the Night of Museums, the brandies museums opens its doors, come discover it on a guided visit and enjoy free tastings. (Combined with a visit to the Welche Brewery).

It is in a former post office of the eighteenth century that René and Monette de Miscault created this museum.
Discover all the stages of the manufacture of the eaux de vie, from the explanation of the still, the apparatus for the distillation of the eaux de vie, to the different collections.
Many cute windows of all ages and from all over the world, bistro jugs, glass bottles, spouts, old advertising posters, bottles of the XVIII century, 300 bottles of Liqueurs from the 1950s constitute a unique collection in the world. Without forgetting many objects related to Absinthe, from before its prohibition in 1915 until its rebirth in 1998.
