Walk: the secrets of Bilstein
Le château du Bilstein presented by GRABE (Groupe de Recherche Archéologique Bruche et Environs). First mentioned in 1293, the castle was partially destroyed during a siege in 1477. GRABE invites you to discover the secrets of its construction, the particularities of its water supply and the history of the silver mines that have surrounded it since the end of the 15th century. In addition to historical and architectural explanations, we'll share observations on botany, geology and birds.
