In praise of hollow trees and dead wood
Only in French. In a small valley with a peaceful stream running through it, your guide will take you on a tour of a forest that is currently being restored. Here, hollow trees offer their cavities and crevices to numerous birds and mammals. Owls, bats and dormice thrive here, while on the ground, dead wood decomposes quietly, providing moisture and food for a host of invertebrates and fungi.
