Visit the Naturoparc (Hunawihr)

Take the whole family for a walk in unspoilt countryside. See if you can spot the white storks, European otters and European hamsters in their natural habitat. Sit down and watch the cormorants, otters, penguins and sealions in the aquatic show. This is a day out to remember!

Try your hand at botany at the Oberlin Museum (Waldersbach)

This museum is dedicated to Jean-Frédéric Oberlin and his work as a botanist. He was also committed to education, which is fitting because the museum houses a children’s centre and an educational kitchen garden and offers numerous activities for all ages. It also organises children’s birthday parties. But for the moment, as the first shoots of spring begin to show, let’s focus on mastering the basics of botany!

If you look carefully, you’ll spot the mini-beasts that are so important to our environment’s equilibrium in the insect garden, the pond, the flower meadow and more.

Watch nature coming back to life at the Zoological and Botanical Park (Mulhouse)

Spring is the perfect time to walk around the zoo gardens. The irises, peonies and rhododendrons are in flower in May and June. And the animals are not yet sheltering from the heat, so keep quiet, you don’t want to disturb them!
