Explore the Sauer valley and discover the originality of this cycle route near the German border. Between Lembach and Seltz, you will discover a very rich historical and natural heritage. The small village of Lembach, a witness to Alsace's turbulent past, is marked by its castles, the Grand Ouvrage du Four à Chaux and the remains of the Maginot Line. At the foot of the valley lies the charming village of Wörth, which commemorates the battle of 6 August 1870. The old Renaissance castle houses a museum where you can learn more about these moments that shaped Alsace and the Alsatians.
