Walking tour: the swan circuit

Start at the car park near the ferry. Take the Rhine embankment, from where you will have a view of the river waters and often of boats and barges, witnesses of human and economic exchanges, in the heart of Europe. At kilometre point 317, turn towards the forest and enjoy the majestic view of the Rossmoerder, a paradise for fishermen and nature lovers. After entering the forest, return to the right via the old dike where you can find out about the operation of the sewage treatment plant serving the municipalities of Drusenheim, Offendorf, Gambsheim and Kilstett. You can also continue your walk to the intermunicipal stele. A glance at the old navigational markers, a bunker or the village bell tower in the distance and you are already near a small pond on the left. The Rhine Forest Discovery Trail, with its streams, hard and soft woods, ends your walk at the petanque ground.
