The Thur river

Rolling down the Alsatian montainous side of the Vosges, the Thur river runs through a narow valley and has 20 affluents. This water stream is 53.3km long and is ranked as 1st category. An stupefyingly abondant river ! A river famous for its sometimes exceptionnaly large trouts and its 40 to 45 cm graylings. The valley's main road, the N66 follows the stream of the river, which makes its banks easily accessible.
