Stade de la Meinau

Description

Football matches have been played here since 1906. Initially a meadow (“Meinau” comes from “Meine Aue” in German, meaning “My Meadow”), it was turned into a football pitch and the current stadium was inaugurated in 1984. With a capacity of 26,000, today the stadium is home to the football club Racing Club Strasbourg Alsace.
