Tourist Office of Colmar and its Region

Chaired by Eric Loesch and headed by Claire Weiss, the Tourist Office of Colmar is a non-profit association made up of a team of 23 people and about twenty guides lecturers.

Its main mission: to welcome, inform, advise the tourist and offer him services such as the reservation of excursions. The reception team made up of 8 Counselors in Stay take turns and ensure an opening 7j / 7, 364j / year. In addition: a responsive website, which gives an exhaustive picture of the tourist attractions of Colmar and its region. Even though digital is growing year by year, the Office is still producing paper documentation to meet the demand. On average, 650,000 city maps, 75,000 tourist brochures and 350,000 event documents per year.

Its second mission: to promote the destination Colmar to the general public and professionals. Represented in several tourism fairs, the Office ensures the reception of travel agencies and organizes the stays of journalists and bloggers, wishing to carry out a report on the city. Each year, more than 150 press actors benefit from its support. Promotion to the general public is carried out via the Agency's websites and social networks. One of the major channels of this action is the Facebook page, which today gathers more than 78,000 lovers of the city.

The Office also organizes several events: "The magic Christmas" with "Children sing Christmas in the boats", "Colmar celebrates Spring", "The International Festival of Colmar" and "The Summer folklore evenings". These events attract a large number of tourists each year and strongly contribute to the city's reputation. Finally, the Office offers professionals and tourists a wide range of products, through its inbound travel agency, ranging from individual or group guided tours to à la carte stays.
