Description Hours

This tour takes you through urbanised areas from different periods and natural areas very close to dwellings. Bourtzwiller originated in a hamlet around a tile factory (founded by Sébastien Bourtz in 1779), which was part of the commune of Illzach and only became independent in 1928. In 1947 the commune of Bourtzwiller was freely attached to Mulhouse, of which it is currently a district.
