International carnival

" Multiple animations are proposed to you: parade of decorated floats, musical or acrobatic carnival groups, children's carnival, transvestite contest, etc... "

This popular event unites thousands of celebrants from all over France, but also Germany, Switzerland... a tradition of the Rhine area, the carnival is spread out over several days, and has many small events: election of the carnival queen, shows, cavalcade, traditional evenings...

- Friday 4 March: Arrival of the Carnival Prince by boat behind the Fabric Printing Museum at 5:30pm. The royal trio will then move to the Place de la Réunion for the official opening and the handing over of the "lumin" (between 6pm and 6.45pm).
At 8pm, the royal court party starts on the theme of the 2000s with DJ Robin (Champ de Foire de Dornach).
- Saturday 5 March: presence of the Royal Trio and guggas at the Canal Couvert market from 9 to 11 am. Strolling in the city centre with guggas from 1 to 5 pm.
At 3pm, a show for children will take place under the big top at the Champ de Foire de Dornach (free for children under 6).
At 8.30 pm, the carnival night starts with a music festival.
- Sunday 6 March: Concert aperitif from 10.30 am.
Great parade from 1.30 pm in the streets of Dornach on a 2.5 km long course.
