Snowshoe walking trip in the valley of Kaysersberg
4 days / 3 nights — À partir de 430 €An itinerant hike on foot and snowshoes on the Alsatian side of the Vosges mountains.
On foot, from the valley towards the snow-covered peaks where the hike continues on snowshoes, with no need for any special technique, you'll be able to move around on the snow in complete peace and quiet. It's another way to get to know nature and the mountains.
Level: medium (for beginners and experienced hikers), the selected walks are suitable for anyone in good physical condition.
Duration: 5 to 6 hours depending on the stage - 500 to 800 m ascent.
Equipment required: waterproof hiking boots, warm clothing, hat, gloves, scarf, sunglasses, mackintosh, small rucksack for day's essentials and packed lunch, snowshoe holder (to attach snowshoes to your rucksack), thermos flask and cutlery.
Possible from 1st December to 15th March, snow permitting.
The tour is also available with a guide, for a minimum of 6 participants.
The rate includes:
3 nights' half-board accommodation in 2* or 3* hotels, 2 hiking trails, 1 pair of snowshoes and poles, 2 packed lunches, luggage transport from hotel to hotel, cab transfers from Colmar station and back (for 2 people or more) or car parking, car parking and reservation service.
The rate does not include:
The pick up at the train station (possible on demand), drinks, personal spending and the tourist tax to pay directly at the accommodation.
