Brasserie Perle - Brewery

Artisanal brewery in Strasbourg. The name Perle was taken from a former Alsatian brand that was located in Schiltigheim, but which closed down in the early 1970s. Brasserie Perle was founded in 1882 by the great-great grandfather of Christian Artzner, the current Master Brewer. Christian Artzner brought the brand back to life in 2009, 40 years after the brewery had closed. Since 19 July 2023, Brasserie Perle has been welcoming visitors at its new location, 10 place de l’Abattoir, which combines the production facility and the Bierstub - Chez Perle. Their beers are all made on site. Some of their subtle and delicate beers are available all year round: Perle Pils, Nature (organic lager), Blanche Perle et les 7 Grains, IPA (India Pale Ale), Hop and Perle dans les Vignes… and every season, small batches are released, such as Christmas beer, La Florale, La Perle des Iles and lots of other surprises, including beers aged in oak barrels.
