" Sauerkraut, the emblematic dish of the region will be honored: a colorful event with animations and folklore procession, which smells good Alsace. "

This 42nd edition of the sauerkraut and folklore festival and its flea market, are organized by the Music Society and the Concordia Folklore Group of Meistratzheim. The sauerkraut festival is one of the biggest popular events in the village, it brings together different music and folklore dance groups from all over Alsace and beyond. The highlight will be the procession at 2:45 pm. The lunch (which can be taken away) will be served on reservation, with only one pre-sale, on Sunday September 4th from 9 to 11 am at the socio-cultural room of the village. A small catering service will be available on the town hall square throughout the day, until 6 pm.
