A little history…
It was 1924 when Guiseppe Franchi - the grandfather-  left his native Italy to settle down in Strasbourg, capital city of the region Alsace.
Bolstered by his fine traditions and faced with the rough winter of our lands, he immediately came up with the idea to offer Strasbourg residents a taste of a surprisingly delicious (and nourishing) fruit: the ROASTED CHESTNUT!
Today, the Franchi locomotives bring excitement to city intersections, delighting young and old alike.
