- CHRISTMAS BALLS
Precious objects for precious moments, by Karen Muller & Dominique Hartenstein
According to tradition, Christmas balls took place on Christmas trees in Alsace in the middle of the 19th century. Until then, it was customary to hang hosts and apples on it, but the poor harvest of 1858 made it impossible. A master glassmaker then had the idea of blowing large glass balls to replace the insufficient number of fruits.

- SIEGFRIED-BURGER POTTERY
Handed down from father to son for over 6 generations!
This pottery allows for the longer process of slow-cooking, which doesn’t require constant surveillance. The cuisine turns out flavorful and delicious. Soufflenheim pottery also allows you to steam the food, which is quicker and produces healthy dishes rich in vitamins and minerals.
- FORTUNE SCHMITTER POTTERY
Potters for 7 generations, this traditional and family workshop producing the real sandstone with Alsatian salt.
This pottery, both utilitarian and decorative, is entirely made in their workshop. The firing process, characteristic of Betschdorf's village production, gives the pottery all its authenticity and shows an exceptional know-how is.
- BECK POTTERY
Potters for 7 generations, The Beck Pottery was created around 1750 in Soufflenheim in Alsace.
It has been passed down from father to son since that time and is currently run by Richard Beck, his wife and their three daughters. The mastery of the gesture and a lot of inventiveness allow them to offer a varied range of forms and decorations either traditional or ethnically inspired thematics
