Start from the car park in front of the communal shed and follow the path on the edge of the "les pêcheurs" housing estate. Walk along the pond and cross the old high-water dike and then follow the new dike of the Offendorf dock. In the distance, you will see the marina with four water sports centres which can accommodate up to 600 boats in the summer. Turn left, follow the road in the direction of Offendorf, cross the bridge and reach the dyke to enjoy a vast panorama of the boatmen's town. You will then overlook the beautifully laid out communal orchard-school. To your right is a remarkable 450-hectare forest with two nature reserves, classified as a protected forest. Continue on the dike for 1.5 km, then turn left along the Muehlrhein. On the right-hand side you will see a beautiful willow grove, which was created to recreate the beaver biotope introduced in 1994. On the left, a set of hedges surrounds an old branch of the Rhine which was once used for retting hemp. Further on, a small depression, a meadow offers the walker a typical flora of the Ried. You will return to the starting point of the tour. Route of the circuit : https://www.openrunner.com/r/12235610
