Passionate about wine, vineyards and gastronomy for many years, Philippe Ball opened in 2017 his shop specialising in wine and spirits, La Cave des Anges in Forstfeld, after training in sommellerie. Elected Best Cavist of the Grand Est and 4th Best Cavist of France in 2020, he has the pleasure of sharing his knowledge on a daily basis to bring you the best possible advice in a joyful and friendly atmosphere. Since 2021, Philippe Martzolff has joined him in the adventure. With fifteen years of experience in the restaurant business as a Maître d'Hôtel, Best Apprentice in Alsace in 2005 and above all Best Beerologist in Alsace, 2nd in France in 2006, he brings and shares his own know-how in wine, beer and the art of the table. Today, they offer you more than 130 references of wines from Alsace, France and elsewhere, a range of about fifteen spirits, but also about ten varieties of craft beers, about thirty varieties of cheeses, as well as about ten varieties of dry sausages made in Haute-Savoie. Do you need advice on food and wine pairing or gift ideas? They will be happy to advise you while respecting your budget and offer you gift boxes and filled baskets. They also carefully prepare different types of platters (cheese, grilled meats, raclettes...) for your TV dinners or to impress your guests with a multitude of flavours, all without moving a finger!
