Welcome to the Domaine du Charolais! Located in the small village of Forstfeld, the farm has been in existence since 1958. The Charolais breed was established from the beginning for Alfred Boehmler, appreciating the exceptional qualities of its meat and its great adaptability. Very quickly the farm expanded to specialize in its breeding, thus participating in the development of the breed within the department. Breeder from father to son, this know-how has been passed on over 3 generations with the same passion for the profession.Today, in constant search for the quality of his breeding, Francis Boehmler and his son Philippe raise their herd by offering it the space it needs. The cows are raised in the meadow for 7 months. During the winter season, they benefit from quality forage produced on the farm. You know what you eat, you know the origin of your meat, traceability is "obvious" since everything is produced by us.
