" Discover another approach to the knowledge of animals through different works. "
The exhibition Bestia. Animals in the Würth Collection offers an original dialogue between works of art from the Würth Collection and specimens from the Musée Zoologique de Strasbourg, a meeting between an art collection and a scientific collection, between a private museum and a public institution. The exhibition celebrates the beauty and strangeness of animals by presenting paintings by artists such as Max Ernst, Georg Baselitz, Gerhard Richter, Ray Smith, Barry Flanagan and Marc Quinn in a dialogue with naturalized animals, in an itinerary based on the four elements: air, earth, water and fire.
