It is well known that there is a distillery at Lobsann. Recently the village, not far from Soultz-sous-Forêts is home to a brewer. Toni Kostovski has opened a micro brewery in his cellar. He produces around 50 hectolitres per year. Always on the look out for new recipes more or less spicey, strong or weak, he currently offers a range of more than 20 regular versions with 6 always in stock. The Lobsann brewery is getting known mainly by word of mouth and takes special orders to match the taste of its clients and even organises courses in beer making. Despite very reasonable prices, Toni is already breaking even and all revenue is reinvested in the development of the business. He prints his own labels and is testing the possibility of stocking his beer in barrels.
