From the Romans to the present day, fruit jam has always been very popular and has survived the centuries in many different forms! Marmalade, jam, jelly, preserves, compote, fruit paste, crufiture etc...
Through different scenes, grandmothers' recipes will be revealed, but also the utensils used to make jam at home and to preserve it, without forgetting to make a trip to the grocery store!
Present at the tea table, it is also found in songs, on postcards, calendars, advertisements... Let's have a look at the many objects bearing the image of jam in one of the museum's rooms.
