The legendary Journées de la Choucroute de Colmar (Colmar Sauerkraut Days), which were created exactly 70 years ago, have been eagerly awaited by all and sundry. Now they're coming back to life, and joining forces with the much-coveted concept of our neighbours' biggest beer festivals across the Rhine - all with a FAV twist!
With its not-to-be-missed Foire aux Vins d'Alsace, a veritable Alsatian institution since 1948, and the launch in 2022 of its little winter sister, the already cult Cuvée Givrée, the Colmar Expo teams are adding to their involvement in the region's great festive and popular events with the 1st edition of its ‘Oktober'FAV’.
On the programme: 3 sessions (Friday and Saturday evenings / Sunday lunchtime); a Hall 3 decorated in the spirit of the German beer festival; lines of tables and benches to be booked very soon; a programme of musical entertainment in the purest tradition of the discipline; our regional gastronomic emblem, the royal sauerkraut accompanied by its Alsatian beer.
