Colmar International Festival : Discovering young artists - Grégoire Torossian

VIOLIN : GRÉGOIRE TOROSSIAN PIANO : SAMUEL BISMUT Grégoire Torossian, born in 2000, began playing the violin at the age of 4. He has won several international competitions, including the Leonid Kogan Competition in Brussels and 3rd Prize at the George Enescu International Competition in Bucharest in September 2022. Grégoire Torossian has taken part in numerous masterclasses throughout Europe, enriching his training with musicians such as Julia Fischer, Kirill Troussov, Sarah Nemtanu, Patrice Fontanarosa, Pierre Amoyal and Sergey Khachatryan. He has gone on to delight prestigious venues such as the Kiev Philharmonic, Geneva's Victoria Hall, the Paris Philharmonic and the Bucharest Athénée. Grégoire Torossian plays Jean-Baptiste Vuillaume's 'Faisan Doré' violin, made available by a private collector, and demonstrates exceptional artistic sensitivity in his interpretation of works by Enescu and Debussy. His commitment to musical exploration and his technical mastery make him a remarkable performer, helping to enrich the contemporary musical landscape. PROGRAM G.
