The 77-km-long Route des Crêtes runs through the Vosges mountains from Sainte-Marie-aux-Mines to Cernay, with altitudes ranging from 825 m at Col Amic to 1,325 m at the foot of Le Grand Ballon.

It connects the peaks of the Vosges mountains, offering, along its route, landscapes of dense forest, lakes, peat bogs, stubble, thus sheltering fragile flora and discreet fauna.

But the Route des Crêtes is above all the promise of a beautiful escape: hiking trails, breathtaking landscapes with panoramic views of Alsace and the Vosges and high altitude farmhouses that will delight your taste buds with the famous marcaire meal....

From July 17th to August 15th, take the Navette des Crêtes, set up by the Parc naturel régional des Ballons des Vosges, to discover this mythical route without your car, in an economical and ecological way.
