Path of resistance and freedom

Office de Tourisme de la Vallée de Villé

The Chemin de la Résistance et de la Liberté was created on the initiative of the local Comité du Souvenir Français. It links the Urbeis pass to the Noirceux pass, which represents a route of about 10km. Twelve panels placed along the route recall the past of those who during the Second World War participated in the passage of thousands of people who wanted to flee German territory to reach France.
