Le Temple Protestant

Located opposite the old railway station, at the crossing of the Route d'Albé, the Protestant church and the presbytery which adjoins it are red brick buildings, with grey sandstone door and window frames. The church is a rectangular building, flanked on the north side by a bell tower with a slate roof. The side walls are pierced with tall, narrow ogival windows. - The interior, well lit by its 9 high windows, is rectangular. The decoration, very sober, consists of a frieze of painted stylised fleur-de-lis on the sides. The simple wooden pews can accommodate about a hundred worshippers. In the centre of the choir is a wooden altar on which are placed a wooden cross and three embossed brass candlesticks. On the left is a harmonium and a lectern with an old German Bible. On the right is a small wooden pulpit, the reading table of which is decorated with a hammered brass cross.
