" A generous dose of rock, a nice touch of soul, a hint of magic and a big pinch of joy. This is the recipe for an energizing double concert! "
Lesly Gargowitsch was a young teenager when she saw the film ‘La Môme’, about the life of Edith Piaf. It was a revelation for her, and Lesly decided to memorise all the songs in the film. She sang them at family gatherings and in choirs. Of Jewish and nomadic origin, Lesly also discovered klezmer music, jazz and traditional gypsy music. In a gypsy atmosphere, she learned to play the guitar. She joined the Strasbourg Conservatoire to hone her musical skills. Later, rich in experience, Lesly Gargowitsch joined forces with Raïlo Helmstetter on guitar and Roland Grob on double bass to form the Lesly Trio. This trio of artists and three styles converges on an authentic project that she leads with charm and brio. In a fine dialogue between guitar and double bass, Lesly lays down a clear voice with jazz reflections. The trio travels between jazz and French chanson, with a repertoire of covers of standards and original compositions.
A generous dose of rock, a fine touch of soul, a hint of magic and a big pinch of joy. That's Cachou-Cachou's recipe for an energising cocktail. Let yourself be carried away by their rock'n'soul repertoire. Let loose and dance on the dancefloor or wiggle around on your chairs or armchairs to their repertoire borrowed from the Rolling Stones, Elvis Presley, Gene Vincent, Ben E King, Chuck Berry, Ray Charles and many others...
