Exhibition: Il était une fuite

" The line of flight and the way artists approach it and play with it are at the heart of this exhibition. "

Il était une fuite is the result of a collaboration between the students of the Master Écritures Critiques et Curatoriales de l'Art et des cultures visuelles at the University of Strasbourg - Bruno Latour Promotion and the three FRACs of the Grand Est region: Alsace, Champagne-Ardenne and 49 Nord 6 Est FRAC Lorraine.

The exhibition invites us to rethink the standard representation of the horizon, conceived as a strict and limiting line. It attempts to deconstruct the dominant visions that condition the structuring of our environments.

Opening on Friday 15 March 2024 at 6pm.

To coincide with the opening of Il était une fuite, a free shuttle bus service will run between Strasbourg and Sélestat, subject to prior booking. The bus will meet at 4.45pm at the Palais Universitaire, 9 Pl. de l'Université, 67000 Strasbourg.

The bus will leave the Palais Universitaire at 5pm, arriving at the FRAC Alsace at 6pm, and will leave again at 9pm, arriving in Strasbourg at 9.45pm.
