In partnership with Le Comptoir du Crime, a Strasbourg-based agency specialising in the creation of scripted and dramatised events, the Humanist Library is taking advantage of the Halloween period to bring you a spine-tingling participatory investigation! An original creation, "les mystérieux ossements" (the mysterious bones) will introduce you to a little-known part of the Humanist Library;
Investigation: the recent discovery of a necropolis beneath the Humanist Library has unearthed bones attributed to the giant Sletto. Legend has it that this myhtic creature, from the mists of time, was the founder of the town of Sélestat. These bones aroused the interest and covetousness of many people. Some for evil purposes, others to protect secrets that have been jealously guarded for centuries. Last night, the canon librarian Marcel Niederman was found dead next to the display case containing the recent discoveries. According to the preliminary investigation, there is no doubt that he was murdered. Was Marcel Niederman trying to protect the bones from falling into the wrong hands? Had he discovered a secret about the myth of the giant Sletto? Who could have held a grudge against him and committed this murder?
During more than an hour of investigation, question the suspects, uncover the secrets of the Humanist Library and follow the murderer's trail...
The actors and actresses of the "Comptoir du Crime" will take detectives for a night through a real investigation, in an atmosphere worthy of the greatest thrillers.
The game is set in the 1950s, so don't hesitate to come dressed in costume.
