Rohan castle

This "Wasserburg" (water castle) has been protecting the entrance to the Bruche Valley since the 14th century.
In the episcopate of the four cardinals of Rohan, from 1704 to 1790, it became an episcopal residence.
Today, it has been turned into a cultural centre. The castle also houses a museum where you may see a weapon exhibit (with firearms and bladed weapons) as well as a stone collection.
The castle is not open to visitors (only the museum is accessible).
