Description

The Châtaigniers trail passes through a woodland landscape with many interesting viewpoints. On a clear day, you can see Strasbourg Cathedral from the Schaentzel plateau. Old sandstone quarrying techniques are explained on site. The walk also allows you to discover the "Picardie" and "La Champagne" annexes of the flower-filled village of Lichtenberg at the foot of its castle, now a heritage interpretation center.
