Rolling landscapes and traditional mid-mountain villages. Ranrupt is a mountain village staggered from 481m on the edge of the Cimontaine to an altitude of 950m above Les Hauts Bois. It lies on a provincial road from Col du Hantz to the ancient Champ du Feu Roman road. The village is home to several hamlets (Fonrupt, La Salcée, Stampoumont) and countless isolated farms (les Hauts Bois, le Promont, etc.) that bear witness to rural Vosges architecture.
